Biography:
Helge Helme beloved female beauty and made model painting to its specialty, but in between he also painted small intimate landscape moods. His model drawings, most often performed in rødkridt, is not, but more thorough croquis. The same is true of his paintings, which are therefore often lost the first Constitution charm and immediacy. The later images, however, is freer in the picturesque treatment. Around 1929 he had a Sunday painting school, where Richard Mortensen was among the students.
