Biography:

Heinrich Dohm painted mainly portraits, landscapes and publication of her pictures, but his production also includes religious motives, which in particular is painted in the years 1900-15. A contemporary historical painting with Christian X on the white horse created awareness about Dohms name and starred for that from the beginning of of Christian democracy, he was a popular portrait painter with many commissions. From ca. 1925 cultivated Dohm summer open-air painting on Fanø and the generally dark voted naturalism, as he had maintained since the Academy time, evolved then coloristic and got an impressionistic touch.
